Joe is very much missed. My favorite memory of Joe is when Janice sent him to stay with me when I was pregnant with my son after I had false labor. I finally made arrangements to have my labor induce in the morning and had to be at the hospital at 6:30am. Joe went to a party since we knew I wouldn't be going into labor before then . . . WRONG! I got to the hospital about midnight and somehow someone got to word to Joe. He got to the hospital about an hour before my son was born (at 4:01 am). He'd a couple of beers :-), and wanted to know what happened to 6:30 in the morning. But that was Joe, ready to help if he could. He made my sister happy and that was all I cared about. He is very much missed, but I also know he is no longer in any pain and still watches over us.
