Joe is very much missed by all of us. Since I couldn't get in here without signing in as Janice, I need say that this is Julie, Janice's sister, Joe's sister-in-law. Joe was always looking for humor even in the darkest of moments. My favorite memory is when Janice sent him to stay with me when I was pregnant with my son. I had made arrangement to have my labor induced in the morning and needed to be at the hospital at 7:00am. There was a party and I told Joe to take the car and go, that I'd be okay until in the morning. Well, my son decided he didn't want to wait. Living in a small a town at the time (and before cell phones), news travels fast and Joe got to the hospital (with one or two drinks under his belt) about an hour before my son was born at 4:01 AM. And Joe, he says - What happened to not having to be at the hospital until 7? That was Joe - a man who loved my sister, loved his kids and who would have done anything he could to help us. Joe you are missed, but I also know that you are still watching over us.
